Hey Chirpers!!!
My friend suggested we make these cool photo letters
she found on www.pinterest.com. I decided to use Glossy Modge Podge and Color photos.
Supplies:
- Canvas Letter — Found at Hobby Lobby
- Black Acrylic Paint
- Assorted photographs in various sizes
- Scissors
- Exacto Knife
There are multiple video tutorials on YouTube:

This is what I did
First, I painted the edges of the letter a metallic black. Next, I worked the pictures on just like a jigsaw puzzle. I painted on the modge podge for one picture at a time and placed in firmly on the letter. I then painted over the picture with the Modge Podge right then. Many of the tutorials suggested the over coat of Modge Podge last, but I felt like the pictures weren’t sticking, so I applied the over coat on each photo as I placed them. I left the photos to over hang as I placed them. After I had all the photos placed, I applied a final coat of Modge Podge over the whole letter. Hint: You are going to see a few glue lines — but just apply that final coat in the a single direction.
After letting the letter dry for a couple hours, I turned it over and trimmed the overhanging photos off using an Exacto knife. Get really close the the edges so they are flush. Don’t worry if you knick the paint a little you can always touch up.
Make your Letter interesting. You can use color or Black and white photos, I used various shapes and sizes and overlapped them — you can be more precise if you want and make things all the same size and don’t overlap — just apply the pictures in a manner that you find visually appealing.
I had to go back and print more pictures a couple of times — it really took more than I expected. Print more than you’ll need to make sure you have enough
